Agreement to terms

By downloading, installing, or using Poopyfeed ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Plain English: By using Poopyfeed, you're agreeing to these rules. They're pretty straightforward—we just want everyone to use the app responsibly.

Description of service

Poopyfeed is a mobile application that helps parents and caregivers track infant care activities including feeding, diaper changes, naps, temperature, and weight. The App is provided free of charge.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Your responsibilities

When using the App, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when tracking your child's care
• Keep your link codes and share links secure
• Only share access with people you trust to view or contribute to your child's tracking data
• Not use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Not attempt to access other users' data without authorization

Not medical advice

Important: Poopyfeed is a tracking tool only. It is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your pediatrician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding your child's health.

The App does not provide medical recommendations or alerts. It simply records the information you enter. If you have concerns about your child's feeding, sleeping, or health patterns, please consult a healthcare professional.

Sharing and access

The App allows you to share access to your child's tracking data through:

• Invite Codes: Single-use codes that grant permanent access to another device
• Share Links: Temporary read-only links that expire after a set time
• Link Codes: Codes that allow you to access your data on a new device

You are responsible for managing who has access to your child's data. We recommend only sharing with trusted family members and caregivers.

Data and privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

Key points:

• Your baby's name and birthdate are encrypted, and all data is stored securely
• Tracking events are automatically deleted after 30 days
• You can delete all your data at any time using the "Reset App" feature
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties

Intellectual property

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-provided data), is owned by Poopyfeed and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our permission.

Service availability

We strive to keep the App available and functioning properly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control.

We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time. While we have no current plans to do so, we recommend periodically exporting any important information you wish to retain.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

In plain English: We've done our best to make a useful, reliable app, but we can't guarantee it will be perfect or work flawlessly in every situation. Use your judgment, especially regarding your child's health.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, POOPYFEED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (which is $0, since it's free).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Poopyfeed, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

For significant changes, we may provide additional notice through the App or other means.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. You can delete all your data using the "Reset App" feature in Settings.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App for users who violate these Terms, though given the nature of our service, we hope this never becomes necessary.

Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
